Tip of the day

If you are looking to improve your riding skills try something new. Try dressage if you haven't yet. Or give western riding a try. There are so many different things that you can do in the horsey world like barrels, patterns and bareback. You can even teach your horse a new trick which will help you two to bond and they may not get the trick but if you are teaching right then they will learn your reward system for the next time you need them to learn something.

Gypsie Vanner

Gypsie Vanners are a beautiful breed of horses that have many other names such as Gypsie Cob and Drum horses the only difference between names is the registries. They were originally developed by Romanichal peoples native to the British Isles. It is a small draft horse breed that is most known for it's feathered legs and mild temperament. The first breed registry for the Gypsies was created in America in 1996 and they have been growing in popularity ever since. They have even gained affiliate recognition with United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and United States Dressage Federation (USDF). Most people recognize them based on their piebald or black and white pinto coloring but there is no set coloring for the breed and they come in many colors including solids. Their facial profile should be straight and "sweet" which means that it is not coarse and that it is in proportion with it's body.
